The Operations Coordinator daily routine will include scheduling and project managementof mid- to long-term projects, Additionally they will be responsible for tracking and forecasting financials and KPI; revenue recognition; and change orders for all laboratory studies and activities.


• To ensure proper placement of employees into specific study activities based on competency and responsibilities and assess/forecast workload versus timing of studies and required effort
• To assist Management by ensuring proper organization and/or schedule, provide proper communication of study instructions and work with the staff to increase the efficiency and ensure appropriate scheduling
• To generate master laboratory schedules based on timelines/staff experience as well as assist in forecasting the revenues of the department and report on KPIs
• Support Laboratory Management in the planning, scheduling and forecasting of upcoming studies
• Support Laboratory Supervisor in the scheduling of all Protocol-required tasks for laboratory studies
• Project Management and tracking of all new awarded studies in terms of schedule (start/end date), dates of due deliverables, and resource requirements
• Forecasting of financial revenue milestones-based study dates and deliverables
• Ensure that any issues related to ongoing studies are resolved in a timely manner and communicate to the Management team
• Report on KPIs periodically and follow through with investigation as required
• Manage the department-level study schedule and resources
• Involved in the departmental and site resource management evaluation and planning
• Assist with verification and posting of all generated schedules
• Troubleshoot logistical challenges associated with workload and study execution
• May be involved in the creation or the verification of the individual study schedule
• Perform any other duties as required

• Bachelor's of Arts (BA)/ Bachelor's of Science (BS) or prior relevant experience
• 3 plus years working in a research environment and/or in planning projects. Experience in a GLP environment preferred
• Have knowledge of effective project management, costing, quality and business implications
• The ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Info Path, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Able to adapt easily to new software programs
• Excellent knowledge in planning of many projects in short timeframe and be able to work in environment with high level of changes. Knowledge of execution of bioanalysis project in CRO environment and experience with staffing logistics are an asset
• The language skills required include, but are not limited to: the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, software manuals, study documents, and procedure manuals; the ability to write routine reports and correspondence; and the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
• Ability to understand and perform basic calculations
• Continual GLP training and training on applicable procedures and SOPs within the department
• Ability to multi-task and maintain organization in a fast paced, changing environment
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment under significant time pressure. Demonstrated attention to detail and consistent ability to operate with accuracy and quality
• Ability to effectively interact with multiple departments
• May require the ability to use specialized software programs
• Be comfortable communicating with all levels of management and employees
• Able to identify and resolve problems as they are encountered
