    Though I’m five years into the pharma environment, I spent nearly three years of constant application (and rejection) before joining a pharma company.  I have always been open to helping other smart individuals break into industry. Today, I thought I would start off by highlighting some things you should consider if you are seriously about joining the pharma/biotech industry.  a. Know clearly why pharma/biotech attracts you: this should be something apart from just the need to get away from writing academic grants to keep yourself funded!
